Film Inn follow-up workshops

On December 6, 2023, the 17th  International Short Film Festival ŻUBROFFKA will start in Białystok, Poland, where our follow-up workshop FILM INN for filmmakers from the V4 countries will also take place. The workshop will focus on topics related to sales, festival strategies, marketing and cooperation with a sales agent. The mentor of the workshop is Marcin Łuczaj from New Europe Film Sales.

 

Another part of the workshop, focused on the development of short film project scripts with Anne Gensior, will take place online.

 

Marcin Łuczaj

Since 2016, Marcin has been working at New Europe Film Sales spearheading acquisitions and development as well as financing and co-production of new projects. In 2021, Marcin was selected as one of the Future Leaders 2021 by Screen International. He has been cooperating with many co-production markets for years, working as a programmer, consultant and lecturer for Cinemart at Rotterdam Film Festival, Hubert Bals Fund, Torino Film Lab Script Lab, When East Meets West, EAVE and MIDPOINT. In 2020-2022, Marcin worked as a creative consultant for one of the largest film investment firms in the industry, Anton Corp in London, where he was responsible for European co-production and their financing. Marcin is also a regular collaborator for the leading Polish production company, Madants. Over the years, he’s been involved with a number of projects as financing consultant and executive producer bringing collaborators and financiers to projects such as LAMB (A24), CORPUS CHRISTI (Oscar Nomination) and recently HOUSEKEEPING FOR BEGINNERS (Focus Features/Universal)

 

Anne Gensior

Berlin-based international script consultant for feature films and documentaries, a teacher and tutor in workshops and a script reader and consultant for funds and coproduction markets. She has been working as a tutor for MIDPOINT Feature Launch, CineSud ScriptLab, RACCONTI script development programme and the Turkish producer workshop YAPIMLAB. She works regularly for EAVE Workshops and teaches scriptwriting at the Kunstakademie Münster. After graduating in dramaturgy from the HMT Leipzig in 2005, Anne worked also as a theatre dramaturg, festival curator and for radio programmes before joining the script development agency Script House in Berlin.
